Dr Satan’s Echo Chamber

First of all, massive props to a man like Ringo, who’s been painstakingly digitising and uploading a mass of old Manasseh Kiss FM shows covering the whole of the 90s (get them here). The shows, which went out on in the very early hours of Sunday morning, were a big way in to roots and all things JA and dubwise for a whole lot of people, myself included. Testimony here from Ska Invita, who’s also got on the case, uploading some of his own Manasseh tapes. These sessions are an absolute goldmine, and knowing I’ve already got about 50 hours worth of them to work through makes me very happy. One of the Manasseh crew, Robin, is already in touch with Ringo about digitising and sharing even more, and I’m sure other hoarders will come out of the woodwork with their own offerings too.

So all this wallowing in roots niceness set me off on another foundation and dub mix. I know I posted one not so long ago but it’s nearly summer so what the hell. No theme or style to this one particularly, it was mixed almost live with whatever seemed right at the time and it goes from the obscure to the bleedin’ obvious and back.
